     A-1 Catering has been in the business of catering since 1976. Beginning as a meat market and catering outlet, its main objective was to provide quality products to customers with emphasis on personal service. Now concentrating on service, Bill uses his expertise and pride in Alberta beef to bring the best to your table.

     His wife, Jean,a school teacher, who has always enjoyed a cooking challenge, joined the company in 1988 and put more emphasis on variety and presentation. She looks after the menu planning and details of the event.

     Both partners are totally part of the preparation process to ensure quality and consistency.

     A-1 has carefully recruited skilled and dedicated employees, both full and part-time. The employment periods we have experienced with our employees has been one to eight years, with an average being 4 years. This stability has allowed us to properly train all of our staff.

     The pleasant and professional atmosphere here at A-1 has insured we are able to staff our part-time employees by word-of-mouth. While our serving staff is recruited from students and other seasonal sources our cooks are professionals or experienced farm wives part time during our busiest season.

     With our ready employment pool; stable employee periods and careful training, we can provide you with the finest catering experience available in Central Alberta.
